We derived our name from the three beautiful islands that make our home - New Zealand or 'Aoteoroa' Land of the Long White Cloud. Maori mythology claims the South Island is the Legendary Maui's "Waka" or Boat, Stewart Island, the anchor and the North Island the Fish. New Zealand is situated in the South of the Pacific Ocean, sometimes jokingly referred to as 'Down Under'.
